Ivo Tavares é um dos convidados da 3.ª edição das MASS Talks, que terá lugar no dia 12 de dezembro de 2025, no Porto.
Sob o tema “How to Design the System Behind the Idea?”, esta edição propõe uma reflexão sobre os bastidores das indústrias criativas, explorando metodologias de trabalho, fluxos de produção, ferramentas de gestão e tecnologias emergentes — da automatização à inteligência artificial — que hoje influenciam a forma como se cria, organiza e constrói.
A conversa parte de uma questão central: de que forma é possível estruturar processos criativos sem comprometer a liberdade do ato de criar? Mais do que discutir ferramentas, o encontro procura criar um espaço de pensamento crítico sobre os sistemas (muitas vezes invisíveis) que dão ritmo, coerência e continuidade à prática criativa.
As MASS Talks são um ciclo de conversas públicas promovidas pela MASSLAB, que propõem um espaço aberto para cruzamento de disciplinas, onde arquitetos, criativos, investigadores e decisores exploram os temas que moldam a prática contemporânea.
Nesta edição, Ivo Tavares estará à conversa também com a Mino, agência criativa dedicada ao setor imobiliário, numa sessão que cruza diferentes formas de pensar, estruturar e comunicar a arquitetura a partir das suas margens disciplinares.
A participação de Ivo Tavares insere-se num percurso que cruza a fotografia de arquitetura com uma reflexão contínua sobre processo, método e construção de sentido visual.

Ivo Tavares is one of the guests of the 3rd edition of the MASS Talks, which will take place on December 12, 2025, in Porto.
Under the theme “How to Design the System Behind the Idea?”, this edition proposes a reflection on the backstage of the creative industries, exploring working methodologies, production workflows, management tools, and emerging technologies — from automation to artificial intelligence — that currently influence the way we create, organize, and build.
The conversation is driven by a central question: how is it possible to structure creative processes without compromising the freedom of the act of creating? More than discussing tools, the event seeks to open a space for critical thinking about systems (often invisible) that give rhythm, coherence, and continuity to creative practice.
The MASS Talks are a cycle of public conversations promoted by MASSLAB, designed as an open space for cross-disciplinary dialogue, where architects, creatives, researchers, and decision-makers explore the themes that shape contemporary practice.
In this edition, Ivo Tavares will also be in conversation with Mino, a creative agency dedicated to the real estate sector, in a session that crosses different ways of thinking, structuring, and communicating architecture from its disciplinary edges.
Ivo Tavares’s participation is part of an ongoing path that bridges architectural photography with a continuous reflection on process, method, and the construction of visual meaning.
